Overview

LibGuides
LibGuides are a content management and information sharing system designed specifically for Libraries. They contain curated resources for selected Mohawk College programs that can be added to MyCanvas courses.

Note: It is recommended that you make a note of the Research guide to be embedded before beginning the process. This will ensure you do not have to switch from MyCanvas to the Research Guide when adding the content.

How to Embed a Full Research Guide

Navigate to a Module in a course and click on the plus icon

From the dropdown menu choose External Tool

Click on the Mohawk College Library Guides 1.3 option

Choose Full LibGuide for the Content Type

Choose a Guide to embed from the dropdown list

Selecting a Landing Page is optional. The default Landing page will be the first page in the guide.

Click on the Embed Content button

Ensure that the Load in a new tab option is not checked. Click on the Add Item button to complete the process
