Interlibrary Loan Service


An Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a request to borrow books in print or magazine/journal articles from libraries outside of the Mohawk College Library.

When you can't find what you’re looking for in our collection, you can use the ILL Service and we'll try to find it for you!

About the Interlibrary Loan Service

  • The ILL Service is free and available to all current students, faculty and staff of Mohawk College.
  • The purpose of the ILL Service is to provide access to resources needed to support the learning, teaching and individual research needs of the Mohawk College Community.
  • The Library is unable to fill ILL requests for course required textbooks or materials.

How Do I Request an Interlibrary Loan?

Before filling out a request form, you will need the following information about the item/s you are requesting:

  • Title of Book or Article
  • Author or Editor name
  • Publication Date
  • Journal/Magazine Source (if an article)
  • Issue, Volume, Pages Needed (if an article)
