Mohawk College is committed to promoting Academic Integrity, as defined in our Academic Integrity Policy. The Academic Integrity Office's responsibilities include:
- Promote academic integrity at Mohawk College
- Offer guidance and support to faculty, students, and other members of the Mohawk College community regarding academic integrity, investigations and processing of breaches, related policies and procedures, resources, and best practices.
- Provide oversight regarding College-wide academic integrity initiatives, academic integrity records management solutions, trend analysis and tracking, and related activities.
- Lead processes for students who have breached academic integrity and whose outcomes and/or sanctions include remediation.
- Chair the Academic Integrity Advisory Council.
The Academic Integrity Office is available to support faculty with the following:
- Advise on suspected breaches of academic integrity, including mitigation and detection approaches, student discussions, sanctioning and remediation, and resolution.
- Research, prepare and deliver information related to academic integrity and ethical academic standards
- Offer guidance on the Academic Integrity policy, procedures and College evidence-informed practices
- Suggest best practices on academic integrity and curriculum, outcomes, classroom deliveries, and other teaching, learning, and advising functions.
- Provide class visits to engage students with definitions, standards, and expectations of conduct with respect to academic integrity.

Forms For Faculty
Use the forms below to arrange online support:
- Breach of Academic Integrity FormThis form is completed by the faculty member when a breach of the academic integrity policy has occurred. Upon submission this form is shared with the student, the Registrar’s Office and the Academic Department.
- Interlibrary Loan RequestStudents, faculty and staff can use this form to request items that are not available in the College's Library collections.
- Purchase Request FormIf there's a book or video you'd like the Library to consider purchasing, please let us know via this form.
- Library Instruction RequestBook an instruction session by a librarian to help your students understand the research process, evaluate resources, cite, and more. These sessions are available virtually.
- Reserve Request Form (PDF 117KB)If you anticipate high student demand for a particular item because of an assignment, consider putting the resource on Reserve (short term loan or in Library use only) to ensure access by all. To place an item on reserve, print out and complete a Reserve Request Form and bring it to the Customer Service Desk at any Library location.
