How to Find a Citation

Many of the Library's databases have a built in citation tool that you can use to find citations in the most popular styles such as APA and MLA.

Review these citations carefully and always consult the Library's APA Guide for exact formatting and punctuation guidelines. Check your reference list for accuracy and pay special attention to specific requirements from your instructor.

Use the Cite Tool in Ebsco

1 When you view the Detailed Record for an item, you will see a list of Tools on the right hand side of the page. Click on the Cite icon.
