How to Find Print Books

There are two ways to search for books in print in the Library. You can use the Search box on the Library homepage or go directly to Page 1+ and search from there. You do not need to be logged in to search for books in print but you will need to login in to place a book on hold. 

Print Book Search - Page 1+

  1. Go to the Library Homepage, enter your search terms into the search box and click on the Search button. Page 1+ search box on library homepage

  2. Your search results will appear. Refine the results by checking Held by library under Availability in the left side menu, and clicking on the Apply Filters button.Results screen with arrows showing how to limit to books using availability limiter.

  3. The result list will be limited to books in print. A brief record is included for each book and includes the Library location, if the book is available for loan and the call number indicating where to find the book in the stacks.  The record for a book in the result list showing the location in the stacks for that item.

  4. To see full record for the book, click on the Title link or the Available at link.example of a detailed book record in page one plus
