How to Find eBooks
eBooks can be found by entering keywords into the search box on the Library homepage or by searching an eBook database.
No login is required to access eBooks on campus. If you are off-campus, you will need to log in with your 9-digit student or employee ID and password. Example: 000101060@mohawkcollege.ca. Full details can be found on the Off-Campus Access page.
Finding eBooks
Enter your search terms or a book title into the Search Everything box on the Library Homepage and click Search.
Your search results will appear. Refine your search by selecting Available Online and Books from the Resource Type menu in the left side pane.
Select an item of interest and click on the eBook title link or the Available Online link.
The full record for the item will appear. Under View Online, click the link located under Full Text Availability.
Go to the eBook Databases page and choose a database from the list.
This is an example of a search in the EBSCOhost eBooks Database. Enter some search terms or a title into the search box and click the Search button.
To view the eBook and read it online, click the Access now button.
To download the eBook, click on the Blue Download icon. To access details of the eBook, table of contents/chapters or to search within the eBook, use the menu in the top right hand corner of the page.
