My Dashboard in EBSCO


The My Dashboard feature in EBSCO is like your own personal workspace where you can keep track of things you find during your research. This feature has different organized sections including Project , saved items and searches. Users must create an EBSCO Account to use My Dashboard.

How to create an EBSCO Account

  1. Open any EBSCOhost database. It doesn't matter which database you use, as long as it's part of EBSCOhost.
  2. Find the account creation option. Look for a section in the top right corner of the screen. Click on "MyEBSCOhost" 
  3. Create your new account. You'll see a button or link that says "Create an account." Click on that.
  4. Create EBSCO account
  5. Fill out the form with your preferred email. Here's the important part: Use any valid email address you like. It doesn't have to be your school email, and it won't be linked to your library account.

Accessing My Dashboard in EBSCO to access Projects, Saved Items and Searches

The project feature allows you to collect and organize items found in EBSCO databases. For example, if you were working on multiple research projects, you could create a Project for each one to store articles on your different topics In addition, you could assign each Project a Due Date to help prioritize your work.

  • Click on the blue plus icon to create a new project. You can also set a due date for the project

Keep track of your saved items from EBSCO

  1. Find your saved items: Click on Saved to see a ist of everything that you've bookmarked
  2. Click on the vertical 3 dots to access more options with the selected items including citing, adding to project, share and download

View your saved searches.

  • Click Searches to view your Search history and Search alerts you have set up. Searches with a blue bookmark icon have been saved and are also available from the Saved view.
