What is Office 365?

Office 365 is a subscription-based service offered for free to current Mohawk staff, faculty, and students. It combines the familiar Microsoft Office desktop applications along with Office online - cloud-based versions of your favourite Office tools.

What's included?

  • A full, installed Office experience across PCs, Macs, Windows tablets, iPad, Android tablets, and most mobile devices
  • Includes up-to-date desktop versions of Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and more
  • 5 PC or MAC installs, 5 tablets, and 5 phones 
  • 1 TB of cloud storage on OneDrive for Business
  • Access to online versions of Office apps

Access to Office 365

Mohawk Staff can only access Office 365 by logging in through the Office 365 portal.

The portal includes access to online Office apps and access to download and install Office desktop apps.

To access Office 365 in MyCanvas, choose Account from the Global Navigation Menu.

The account menu options includes Office 365 Outlook.

You can connect your college OneDrive account from your course page if the Office 365 option is available in your course navigation menu.
