If you already have AutoCAD installed, check the steps below and see if you can find "AutoCAD - including specialized toolset" in your product list. If you cannot find it, you will need to uninstall your existing copy of AutoCAD and re-download it as the older version did not include the specialized toolsets

  • If you do not have an account
  • If you do not have and Autodesk Education license
  • If the software is not added to your Autodesk account

The following steps covers a couple of alternate ways to install AutoCAD 2019, 2020, or 2021 if the "Install now" option does not work.

Option 1: Use the Autodesk Virtual Agent:

The "Autodesk Virtual Agent", or AVA for short, is an intuitive option for downloading Autodesk products or getting help. You can access it by visiting https://ava.autodesk.com/modular/?module=download!

Click on the link above and you can have a simple conversation with AVA to download the the product you're interested in (e.g., AutoCAD). Once the files are downloaded, run the installer and follow the prompts.
