Autodesk Software Available

Autodesk makes a many of their subscription-based products available for free to qualified students and staff at Mohawk. Below is a curated list of software that is a mix of completely free-to-use, and software that is available free-to-use with an Educational License. AutoCAD

AutoCAD Logo
AutoCAD is Autodesk's flagship product. Its purpose is to allow architects, designers, and other engineering professionals to create, edit, or communicate their 2D or 3D designs.

Civil 3D

Civil 3D Logo
Civil 3D is used for civil infrastructure design, as well as documentation for transportation, land development, and water and wastewater projects.

Revit

Revit Logo
Revit is a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. It allows architects, designers, builders, and other construction professionals to work together on different aspects of a shared project simultaneously.

Maya

Maya Logo
Maya is a robust 3D design software used primarily to create animated scenes and assets for film, television, video games, and architecture.

3ds Max

Autodesk 3ds Max Logo
3ds Max is a 3D modeling and rendering software that is primarily used to create 3D models, game assets, and for projects that don't involve motion.

Character Generator

Autodesk Character Generator Logo
Character Designer is an online tool that can be used to quickly customize and download rigged 3D characters from a catalog of over 100 body types, outfits, hairstyles, etc. for use in either Maya or 3ds Max.

Tinkercad

TinkerCAD Logo
Tinkercad is a Constructive Solid Geometry (CSG)-based modeling tool that is completely free. It has an easy-to-use online app for 3D design, electronics, and coding.

Fusion 360

Fusion360 Logo
Fusion 360 is a CAD program, typically used for consumer product design. It has a free trial that can be extended indefinitely, even without an Education License.

Inventor

Inventor Logo
Inventor is a program used for 3D mechanical design, simulation, visualization, and documentation. Inventor includes powerful modeling tools as well as CAD translation capabilities, nesting functions, and more.
