How to Search the Catalogue 

There are two ways to search the Library Catalogue. You can use the Search box on the Library homepage or you go directly to the catalogue and search from there. 

Search from the Homepage

Go to the Library Homepage and select the Books & Media radio button. Enter your search terms into the box and click the Search button.

Search from the Catalogue

Go to the Library Catalogue, enter your search terms into the box and click the Search button.

Refining Results

At the top of the Result page, there are three drop down menus that you can use to refine your results

  • Use Option 1 to search by Title, Author or Subject
  • Use Option 2 to search for Books, eBooks or Videos
  • Use Option 3 to search for items at Fennell, IAHS or Stoney Creek

Viewing Search Results

Search results are listed by number according to relevance. You can use the dropdown menu to the left of the page to sort the result list by Title, Author or Date. To see more details of an item, click on the items title.

Viewing a Record

The detailed record of a title may display an image of the item as well as the Author/Editor and the item type. The Copies area shows the item's location, call cumber and availability. The Record Details area shows the item's ISBN, physical description, edition and publishing information.
